Georgia
Our Georgia location is a 75,000 square foot, SAS 70 Type II-certified data center and serves as a staple to high-level, 24/7/365 security. With no single point of network failure.

Massachusetts
vīvōHost utilizes two data centers in the Boston, MA area. Combined, they occupy over 2400 square feet of space. Each data center is equipped with:

Our solid, secure network infrastructure is comprised of a pooled server environment, which gives virtually any server on our network the ability to access website files when a request occurs. This means that the first machine available will be the one to serve a customer's webpages, giving our customer sites faster loading times and fewer service interruptions than traditional hosting infrastructures.

Our front-end network consists of:
* dual redundant M7I routers
* 2 firewalls incorporating IDP technology cross-connected to the outside world with BGP border gateway protocol.

Site data is parsed by our dual Big Iron load balancers and is then managed by our DELL servers, which are split into application pools (Web, FTP, incoming mail, etc.). This type of architecture allows us to customize each machine to the service it performs, which means more density per box, and ultimately, faster and more reliable services. No pool lives entirely on one rack. Therefore, even the loss of a rack's switch or its power will not take that service pool down.

Our network-attached storage enables any machine to access a customer's data. Every machine is clustered with another identical machine that will seamlessly take over if the primary unit crashes. These units are also backed up to another set of storage units that have a mirror copy of the data in case of disk failure in the primary units. An estimated 5.5 gigabits of storage are processed per second through our servers.

Michigan
The data center network at our Michigan location has been designed to accommodate clients demanding the highest quality network performance. There is a central focus on redundancy allowing our network to rapidly self-heal failures without interruptions to connectivity.

Tier-1 Connectivity
Providing the highest quality Internet connectivity and performance is our top priority. We have selected premium Tier-1 bandwidth providers, ensuring minimal latency and fast connections to all points of the global internet. We are proud to feature direct connectivity with AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Savvis and Level3. Our aggregate connectivity reaches an astounding 8,500+ networks just a single network away from our up-links.

Security
Datacenter access is strictly limited to technical staff. Electronic security systems control data center access and are accompanied by a full compliment of motion detecting security cameras which monitor the entire facility. Our Data Center facility external walls are reinforced poured concrete. We are a fully managed facility, which means we have level 3 technicians on site 24 hours per day, allowing incident response times to be kept to a minimum.

Power
Our power systems feature extensive fault tolerance and resilience at every layer. Incoming service is routed underground to a dedicated on-site transformer. This system routes to our automatic transfer switch which monitors power quality, and automatically transfers to our emergency generators in the event they are needed. Each facility is also protected by one or more uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), featuring redundant battery cabinets and full maintenance bypass cabinets allowing for service and upgrades without interruption of power to our servers.

Liebert Precision power distribution units handle final power transformation and distribution to racks, ensuring clean consistent power to data center equipment.

Each facility has multiple emergency generators waiting on standby, featuring over 24 hours of autonomous runtime before requiring refueling. Each generator is test run at least once a week to ensure they are ready in the event they are needed.

Generator power is activated automatically in the event of a utility failure by the transfer switch. The data center load is maintained by the UPS units with at least 15 minutes of capacity, however this is not necessary as the generator is active and up to speed within 10 seconds of a power failure.

Cooling
Environmental processing systems include redundant Liebert Precision 22 ton up flow air conditioning units. Temperature and humidity are precisely regulated year round to ensure optimal equipment reliability. Each unit contains independent compressors and cooling loops to further enhance fault tolerance and reliability. Air filtration systems actively remove foreign particulates from circulation and cycle the entire data center air supply in a matter of minutes.

Texas
This secure data center was built from the ground up for the sole purpose of hosting and protecting mission critical websites and hosted applications that require high levels of bandwidth availability, website security, and network redundancy.

Network
Each data center has multiple fiber entrances with diverse routes and self-healing server architecture. If fiber is cut, traffic will route to an alternative path within milliseconds.

Security
Security cameras and NOC personnel monitor each of our data centers inside and out at all times. Data center entrances are controlled by proximity readers and biometric scanners, and visitors must check in at a reception desk manned around the clock.

High-Availability Power
Our data centers' industrial-grade UPSs and generators have the capacity to provide power to the entire facility for over a day without refueling. We work with multiple diesel vendors to supply fuel on the fly in the event of an extended power outage.

Fire Prevention
Each data center is furnished with a double interlock pre-action fire suppression system designed specifically for telecommunication and web hosting server equipment.

Climate Control
The server room at each data center is furnished with raised floors and N+1 cooling with built in return ducts above the hot isle to regulate efficient hot air removal. Because of this unique setup, we achieve a cooling efficiency that allows us to maintain server room temperature between 68-70°F.

Utah
